LTA ratings and rankings
In order to get an age-group ranking you need to have a British Tennis rating and have competed in an LTA-sanctioned tournament (graded 1–5). For more information, contact Alex Woolmington (Head Coach) or go to the LTA website.
The club offers a coaching pogramme comprising individual and group sessions. Those new to tennis or starting playing again after a long break will benefit from joining the coaching squad for beginners/improvers.
Touchtennis is a fun game that focuses on deft stroke-play and chess-like manoeuvres. Played on a reduced size court with foam balls and 21 inch kids’ rackets, the rules of the game aim to level the playing field for competitors by fostering long, intense rallies and clever angle play.
As an affiliate of the the LTA, the club receives an allocation of tickets for the Wimbledon Championships. Members can enter a draw for a chance of purchasing a pair of tickets. You MUST be a British Tennis member to enter this draw and you must have opted in to the Wimbledon draw on the LTA website.
